Our work in informal settlements focuses on sustainable development through:

Our Foundation
Since its inception, Hatfield Christian Church South (HCCS) has had a strong desire to be involved in sustainable community development.
SMILE was launched in 2008 as a vehicle to grow and cultivate these initiatives. It was formally registered as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO) in 2012 and later constituted as a Non-Profit Company (NPC) in 2017.
Since then, SMILE Impact has continued to grow its reach and impact within communities.
